GOVERNOR SIGNS SB 120 UNEMPLOYMENT BILL

On Wednesday, Governor Sarah Palin signed an unemployment benefit increase. Now the maximum weekly unemployment compensation amount will increase from 248 dollars to 370. The bill's sponsor, Senate Majority Leader Johnny Ellis, says the increase has been needed for a decade.
